While Pigeon Forge didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Cosby Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Pigeon Forge walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-23, 26-24, 21-25, 25-13.

Kylie Reddell paced Pigeon Forge's offense, picking up 23 kills. Reddell got some help from Rylinn Ginter and her 27 assists. Ginter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Pigeon Forge's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Cosby, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Coming up, Pigeon Forge will square off against Northview Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cosby, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hancock County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
