Soccer Recap: Coffee Comes Up Short

Coffee lost to Lee County back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Coffee took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lee County. While losing is never fun, Coffee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 164th, while Lee County is ranked 23rd).

Coffee now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Lee County, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Coffee will challenge rival Northside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lee County is set to take on their familiar foe Houston County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
