Baseball Recap: W.S. Neal Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

W.S. Neal barely beat Jackson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Aggies 12-1 on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Eli Stone was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. He is becoming a predictor of W.S. Neal's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-5 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Britt, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

W.S. Neal was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

W.S. Neal's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Jackson, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-9.

W.S. Neal will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Aggies: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
