Volleyball Recap: Pamlico County's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Five + How To Watch

Pamlico County had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. Everything went their way against the East Carteret Mariners as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on September 9th.

Pamlico County was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-19, 25-20.

Pamlico County had a senior duo take command as Dakota Schmidt had 19 assists and two aces and Hayley Shamblin had 12 digs. Schmidt has been hot for a while, having posted 17 or more assists the last 11 times she's played.

Pamlico County's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for East Carteret, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8.
