Softball Recap: North Decatur Falls Short of Tri in the Playoffs

North Decatur and Tri squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but North Decatur had to settle for second. They lost 13-3 to the Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-2 back in April.

North Decatur saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn White, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for North Decatur and nudges their season record down to 7-13. As for Tri, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-5.

North Decatur does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tri, they will challenge Knightstown at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight.
