Volleyball Recap: Harding Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Harding Academy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Wynne Yellowjackets. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 25-27, 25-20.

Landry Lovell and Lia Bunch certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Lovell had 15 digs, while Bunch had ten digs, eight kills, and two aces. Bunch has been hot recently, having posted eight or more kills the last three times she's played. Ella Reed also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Harding Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Wynne, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Harding Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wynne, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Southside on the 23rd.
