The St. Mary's Pirates waltzed into Thursday's contest with two straight wins but they left with three. They really took it to Middle Park for the full four quarters, racking up a 85-30 win on the road. With St. Mary's ahead 42-12 at the half, the match was all but over already.

St. Mary's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maeve Salveson, who scored 25 points along with 5 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Salveson has scored at least 25% of St. Mary's points. Jaela Pedro was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Despite the loss, Middle Park had strong showings from Aubree Hanson, who scored 4 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists, and Mayte Alvarado, who scored 9 points.
