Baseball Recap: San Antonio Homeschool's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

San Antonio HomeSchool made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Antonian Prep, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The San Antonio HomeSchool Wolverines' pitcher stepped up to hand the Antonian Prep Apaches a 6-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wolverines as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Jojo G was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Christian T, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

San Antonio HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Antonian Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Antonio HomeSchool will venture away from home to take on Comfort at 7:00 p.m. on March 12th. As for Antonian Prep, they will square off against O'Connor at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
