Football Recap: Halifax Academy Comes Up Short

Halifax Academy is still winless after their matchup against Lawrence Academy on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Warriors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Halifax Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lawrence Academy, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Coincidentally, Halifax Academy and Lawrence Academy will both be playing Pungo Christian Academy the next time they take the field. The Warriors will head out to face the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Vikings will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
