Soccer Recap: Westside Comes Up Short

Westside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Summit Christian Academy Falcons. That's two games in a row now that Westside have lost by exactly ten goals.

Westside's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Summit Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westside will venture away from home to challenge PikeView at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Summit Christian Academy, they will head out to face off against Nicholas County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Summit Christian Academy will be up against Nicholas County's rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
