Football Recap: Plantation Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Plantation, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 25-13 victory over the Piper Bengals on Friday. For the Colonels, this counts as revenge for the 14-7 win the Bengals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Zachariah Ray had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 75 yards and one touchdown.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Plantation proved: they limited Piper to a paltry -1 yards per carry. The Colonels' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.3.

Although Piper took the loss, they still got scores from Isaiah Monestime and Jahnard Young.

The victory got Plantation back to even at 2-2. As for Piper, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Plantation will welcome South Broward at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Piper, they will head out to take on Blanche Ely at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
