Soccer Game Preview: Hampton vs. Warwick

Hampton is 1-9 against Warwick since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Crabbers will head out to square off against the Raiders at 4:00 p.m.

Hampton is headed into Thursday's contest following a draw, the team's first since April 21. They and Phoebus finished up their match with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Warwick didn't have quite enough to beat Denbigh on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Warwick's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. Hampton's draw makes their record 4-6-2 this season.

Hampton was able to grind out a solid win over Warwick when the teams last played back in April, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crabbers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
