Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Center Point

Center Point waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Stacey Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Pirates were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Pirates were just returning the favor.

Cobee Beckerson paced Center Point's offense, picking up 11 kills. Beckerson got some help from Kaylani Ritter and her ten assists. Lorena Bustamante and Isela Martinez kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Center Point's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Stacey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.

Coincidentally, Center Point and Stacey will both be playing Heritage Christian the next time they take the court. The Pirates will head out to face the Eagles at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
