Baseball Recap: Creekview Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Creekview's offense. They came up short against the Highland Park Scots on Friday, falling 13-0. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Scots: they've now lost six in a row.

Creekview now has a losing record of 11-12-3. As for Highland Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Creekview will face off against Hillcrest at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Highland Park, they will take on Allen at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
