Volleyball Recap: Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts' Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

If Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lookout Valley on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Bradley Central Bears on Friday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Sydney Heisig paced Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts' offense, picking up six kills. Heisig got some help from Chloe Chapman and her eight assists. Heisig was also a major player on defense: she and Amber Isbell shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Wyatt Powell was the offensive standout of the match as she had 17 digs and three assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September of 2024.

Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts' loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Bradley Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.
