Baseball Recap: Dos Palos Takes a Loss

Dos Palos managed to slip by Los Banos the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Broncos lost 12-6 to the Tigers on Thursday. The Broncos' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Tevin Clay made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ace Obanion, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

Dos Palos' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Los Banos, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Dos Palos will take on Chowchilla at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Los Banos, they will face off against Hilmar at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Yellowjackets have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
