Basketball Recap: Waukegan Comes Up Short

Waukegan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Hersey Huskies, falling 66-37. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, Waukegan still got an impressive performance from Hadassah Brown, who posted 19 points and five boards. That was a full 51.4% of the Bulldogs' points, marking the third time in a row Brown has scored more than a third of the team's points. Alexy Chapa was another key player, putting up ten points.

Waukegan now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Hersey, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Waukegan and Hersey will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bulldogs will face off against rival Mundelein at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hersey is set to take on their familiar foe Barrington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
