Basketball Recap: Edinburgh Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Milan came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against Edinburgh, but Kenna Streeval wouldn't allow it. The Edinburgh Lancers secured a 38-32 W over the Milan Indians on Saturday thanks in part to Streeval, who posted 19 points along with six assists and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

Lillie Goff was another key player, putting up ten points. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2023.

Edinburgh's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-6. As for Milan, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Edinburgh wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 41-37 victory against New Washington on the 17th. As for Milan, they will head out to take on Rising Sun at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Milan is facing Rising Sun at the right time seeing as Rising Sun is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
