Softball Recap: Johnsonburg Comes Up Short

Johnsonburg lost against Brockway back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rams lost 11-1 to the Rovers. The match marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Johnsonburg saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Dunworth, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Meghan Tettis also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Johnsonburg's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Brockway, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnsonburg will face off against Brookville at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Brockway, they will take on Bradford at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
