Basketball Game Preview: Stuart W. Cramer Storm vs. South Point Red Raiders

Stuart W. Cramer has won 17 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while South Point has won 17 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Stuart W. Cramer Storm will welcome the South Point Red Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Stuart W. Cramer is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing North Gaston: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Stuart W. Cramer blew North Gaston out of the water with an 84-25 final score. With the Storm ahead 49-15 at the half, the match was all but over already.

It was another big night for Oshauna Holland, who shot 8-for-9 from deep and dropped a double-double on 40 points and ten steals. The contest was her 27th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Hadley Womack, who went 8 for 11 on her way to 20 points along with six assists and six steals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Point). They really took it to Forestview for the full four quarters, racking up an 80-39 victory. Given the Red Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Jaguars are ranked 336th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Point has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Stuart W. Cramer, their win bumped their record up to 18-2.
