Soccer Recap: Kamiak Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Despite a strong season so far, Kamiak has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Washington Kangaroos on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Kamiak can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 104th, while Lake Washington are ranked 32nd).

Kamiak's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Lake Washington, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 10-6 record.

Kamiak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Washington, they will head out on the road to take on Issaquah at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lake Washington's defense better be ready for this one: Issaquah have averaged an impressive 2.9 goals per game this season.
