Baseball Recap: St. Marys' Undefeated Season over After Three Games

St. Marys was the 7-2 winner over Sabetha when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears came up short against the Bluejays on Monday, falling 14-1. The loss put an end to the Bears' undefeated start to the season.

St. Marys saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brendan Enockson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Marys fell to 1-1-1. As for Sabetha, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: St. Marys beat the Bluejays by a score of 7-2 later that day.
