Basketball Recap: Windsor Charter Academy Continues Home Dominance on Friday

There's no place like home for Windsor Charter Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the Brush Beetdiggers 68-32 on Friday. The Firebirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Kellen Ball, who went 8 of 15 on his way to 22 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Andrew Schams was another key player, going 6 for 10 to rack up 14 points and five boards.

Windsor Charter Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They racked up nine more assists than Brush's also-impressive total of ten.

Despite the loss, Brush still got an impressive performance from Thatcher Queen, who went 6 of 11 en route to 12 points and four steals. With that strong performance, Queen is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game.

Windsor Charter Academy pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Brush, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Windsor Charter Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 71-66 win against Liberty Common on the 4th. As for Brush, they have also already played their next matchup, a 69-22 defeat against Resurrection Christian on the 4th.
