Basketball Recap: Ponchatoula Takes a Loss

Ponchatoula was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 53-42 to the Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Green Wave of the 46-45 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2025.

Ponchatoula's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Woodlawn-B.R., they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Ponchatoula will host Slidell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodlawn-B.R., they will take on Denham Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
