If Bacon Academy was feeling good fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Lyman Memorial on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats fell just short of the Waterford Lancers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Bacon Academy were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Waterford earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Bacon Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Waterford, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season.
