Orcutt Academy entered their tilt with Mission College Prep on Tuesday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Mission College Prep Royals with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Royals, too.

Orcutt Academy never let Mission College Prep on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15, 25-22.

Michael Arroyo paced Orcutt Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Arroyo got some help from Miles Frantz and his 22 assists.

Orcutt Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Mission College Prep, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orcutt Academy will face off against San Luis Obispo Classical Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mission College Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Righetti at 5:00 p.m. This will be Mission College Prep's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
