Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Takes a Loss

Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 69-22 defeat at the hands of the Vincennes Rivet Patriots. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Cardinals who fell 42-40 when the teams previously met back in December of 2022.

Despite the defeat, Bloomfield saw an underclassman step up: freshman Dixie Hudson posted four points and eight rebounds.

Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Vincennes Rivet, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Bloomfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-37 defeat against Eastern Greene on the 12th. As for Vincennes Rivet, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 79-29 loss against South Knox on the 12th.
