Softball Recap: Clarksville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Christian Academy on Friday, Clarksville came back down to earth. The Generals fell just short of the Northeast Dubois Jeeps by a score of 4-3 on Saturday.

Clarksville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julia Perissi, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base. Another was Makayia Nash, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Clarksville's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Northeast Dubois, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Clarksville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 16-2 victory against New Washington on the 14th. As for Northeast Dubois, they have also already played their next contest, a 17-0 win against Crawford County on the 14th.
