Albuquerque had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Santa Fe Demons on Saturday as the Albuquerque Bulldogs made off with a 72-49 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Albuquerque is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Santa Fe and nudges their season record down to 19-10.

Coming up, Albuquerque will take on Sandia at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Sandia will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Albuquerque surely won't give up without a fight. Santa Fe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
