Softball Recap: Buena Bulldogs vs. Dos Pueblos Chargers        
        
		
            
 Buena had to endure  a  four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Dos Pueblos Chargers  on Wednesday and snuck past  7-6. This was a revenge  match for Buena, as the team was forced to settle for  a  10-0 loss when these two played  last Monday.
  Olivia Bossoletti looked comfortable as she  tossed  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Madison Shay, who  went 3-for-3 with a  home run, three  runs,  and a  double.  Isabella Rodriguez was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 On Dos Pueblos' side,  Zella Cassidy and  Anastasia Brunner did some serious damage despite the final result:  Cassidy  went 3-for-4 with three  doubles, two  runs,  and  an  RBI, while  Brunner  went 2-for-5 with a  home run and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Katelyn Lisi, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Even though they lost, Dos Pueblos was hitting in the alleys and  finished the game with four  doubles. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Buena only hit a.
 Buena's win bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Dos Pueblos, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.
 Buena does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dos Pueblos also has no future games currently scheduled.
