6A District 2 recap December 3, 2013
Jenks added to the longest winning streak in 6A District 2 this week by beating Westmoore, 46-14. The victory was the 13th in a row for the Trojans.
Sapulpa was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after a bye. The Chieftains came in at 20 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
Broken Arrow's Coleman Key and Austin Reed led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-5 quarterback Key has thrown for 2,428 yards this season, while Reed has 63 catches for 1,050 yards. Kieron Hardrick from the Jaguars leads the league in rushing with 1,101 yards.
Accruing a total of 17 touchdowns this year, Quintahj Cherry has thrown for 1,902 yards with 12 interceptions.
Westmoore lost to Jenks 46-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
