Volleyball Recap: Southeast Alamance Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Southeast Alamance Stallions came up short against the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-13, 25-10.

Emily Troy paced Southeast Alamance's offense, picking up seven kills. Troy got some help from Victoria Vazquez and her 13 assists. Vazquez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Sydnee Tapper, who had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Southeast Alamance dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Cedar Ridge, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Southeast Alamance will welcome Northern Durham at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cedar Ridge, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Grimsley on the 18th.
