Softball Recap: Morton Ranch Comes Up Short

Morton Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Paetow Panthers, falling 15-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in February.

Morton Ranch saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Metcalf, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Metcalf also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

Morton Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Paetow, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-13.

Morton Ranch has already played their next match (against Tompkins), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Paetow, they have also already played their next game, a 4-3 loss against Cinco Ranch on the 4th.
