Football Recap: West Mifflin Takes a Loss + How To Watch

West Mifflin might've scored the first points on Friday, but it was Thomas Jefferson who claimed the real prize. The Titans lost 35-14 to the Jaguars. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Jaguars are ranked 21st).

It was another big night for Tyler Eber, who rushed for 131 yards and four TDs for Thomas Jefferson. Ty Betler was in the mix too, providing the Jaguars with one touchdown.

West Mifflin's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Thomas Jefferson, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

West Mifflin and Thomas Jefferson will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Titans are set to take on their familiar foe Mars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Thomas Jefferson will challenge rival Belle Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
