Volleyball Recap: Phil Campbell Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

It was a proper cat-fight when Phil Campbell faced off against Clay-Chalkville on Saturday. The Bobcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Cougars. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bobcats as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Avery Cummings paced Phil Campbell's offense, picking up four kills. Cummings got some help from Aspen Misner and her ten assists. Tinlee PArker controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Phil Campbell's win bumped their record up to 2-15. As for Clay-Chalkville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Phil Campbell has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Loretto on the 13th. As for Clay-Chalkville, they will face off against Alexandria at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
