Softball Recap: Wheaton North Beats Xaverian for Their Fifth Straight Win

Wheaton North put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Xaverian Clippers get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by seven runs or more this season.

Madison Moore looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Reagan Crosthwaite was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Makayla Grantz was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Wheaton North's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Xaverian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Wheaton North will square off against Scott County at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday. As for Xaverian, they will host St. Francis Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
