Basketball Game Preview: Bangs Dragons vs. Miles Bulldogs

Bangs is 0-5 against Miles since January of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bangs Dragons will challenge the Miles Bulldogs at 6:15 p.m.

Last Friday, Bangs was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 43-38 to Ballinger. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Miles escaped with a win on Friday against Coleman by the margin of a single free throw, 54-53. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Bluecats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Miles' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points over those games. As for Bangs, their loss dropped their record down to 10-20.

Bangs was dealt a bruising 68-37 defeat at the hands of Miles in their previous matchup back in January. Can Bangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
