If Providence Hall wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Summit Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Nixon Savage. The Summit Academy Bears came out on top against the Providence Hall Patriots by a score of 71-61 on Friday thanks in part to Savage, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 16 boards. Those 27 points gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kai Fehrenbach, who posted five points. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last six games he's played.

Despite the loss, Providence Hall still got an impressive performance from Mckai Turner, who went 11 of 23 to rack up 30 points and three steals. Turner continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ryker Lancaster, who scored ten points.

Summit Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-20. As for Providence Hall, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-17.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Summit Academy will venture away from home to challenge North Sanpete at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Summit Academy is facing North Sanpete at the right time seeing as North Sanpete is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Providence Hall, they will head out to square off against Ben Lomond at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Providence Hall is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.2 points per game this season.
