Tippecanoe put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They beat the West Carrollton Pirates by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 16-3. While the Red Devils didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Tippecanoe's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.6 runs over those games. As for West Carrollton, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Tippecanoe beat the Pirates by a score of 18-0 on Friday.
