Softball Recap: Oakdale Takes a Loss

Oakdale has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.83 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They came up short against the Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Tigers, falling 10-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Oakdale dropped their record down to 25-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 26-5.

Oakdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 6-0 defeat against Gordonsville on the 21st.
