Volleyball Recap: Pioneer Charter School of Science Gets the Win

It was a proper cat-fight when Pioneer Charter School of Science challenged Madison Park RVT on Wednesday. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cardinals.

The victory didn't come easy: Madison Park RVT scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-21, 19-25, 25-20.

Matteo Rosa paced Pioneer Charter School of Science's offense, picking up ten kills. Rosa got some help from Miguel Silva and his nine assists. Finally, Rosa was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.

Pioneer Charter School of Science now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pioneer Charter School of Science will head out to square off against Collegiate Charter School of Lowell at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Madison Park RVT, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Boston Latin Academy at 5:00 p.m. on the 14th.
