Quincy came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Lindblom, but William Occomy wouldn't allow it. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 67-46 margin over the Blue Devils on Friday with plenty of help from Occomy, who shot 54% from the field en route to 31 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. His big performance that evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points.

Another player making a difference was Ethan Rush, who posted six points. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 67% in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.

The win got Lindblom back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Lindblom and Quincy will both be playing Gateway Legacy Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Blue Devils will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
