Trinity Christian fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Nolan Catholic on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Nolan Catholic Vikings by a score of 2-1. The Trojans' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Nolan Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6-1 record this season.
