Basketball Recap: Dulce Comes Up Short

Dulce suffered their closest defeat since January 4th on Thursday. They fell just short of the Rehoboth Christian Lynx by a score of 36-34. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lynx this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-43 two weeks ago.

Among those leading the charge was Aunika Becenti, who posted 14 points. Janelle Etsitty was another key player, putting up eight points.

Dulce has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for Rehoboth Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-13 record this season.

Dulce has already played their next game, a 60-41 win against Ramah on the 15th. As for Rehoboth Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 33-30 victory against Navajo Pine on the 15th.
