Basketball Recap: Howell Central Comes Up Short

Howell Central lost against Howell back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Howell Central Spartans fell 44-36 to the Howell Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Vikings are ranked 15th).

Howell Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Howell, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-4.

Looking ahead, Howell Central will venture away from home to square off against Fort Zumwalt West at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Howell, they will take on Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
