Amarillo is a perfect 10-0 against Lubbock-Cooper since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Amarillo Sandies will head out to face off against the Lubbock-Cooper Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Amarillo's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Lubbock-Cooper's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Amarillo is headed into the game having not lost since January 4 and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Monterey get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Wednesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Sandies were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Lubbock-Cooper's offense. They fell just short of Monterey by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Amarillo is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-1-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those eight contests. Lubbock-Cooper's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3-6.

Amarillo was able to grind out a solid victory over Lubbock-Cooper when the teams last played back in February, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Amarillo since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
