East Pennsboro was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in Mid-Penn - Capital. Earlier in the week, the Panthers defeated Steelton-Highspire 21-14.
Trinity took down Milton Hershey 49-29 last week, the largest margin of any game. Adam Geiger ran for 282 yards and caught two passes for 24 yards in the win.
The Shamrocks' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Mike Boguski threw for 269 and two touchdowns and Danny Jackson had 158 yards receiving. Alex Cramer helped Trinity's passing attack out by catching one ball for 25 yards.
Trinity's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Shamrocks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Boguski has thrown for 906 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Jackson has 18 catches for 337 yards. Geiger leads the league in rushing with 901 yards.
Trinity's Geiger needs only 99 yards against East Pennsboro next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Todd Stuter's team takes on Bill Ragni's team. The Panthers are currently in third, while the Shamrocks are in first.
There should be lots of points scored when East Pennsboro and Trinity face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Panthers comes in having scored 141 this season, while the Shamrocks have scored 206. East Pennsboro scored 21 points last week as it defeated the Steamrollers.
Trinity made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,959 from 3,323. The improvement came about via a 49-29 victory over the Spartans last week.
