Soccer Game Preview: Lower Dauphin vs. Hershey

The Lower Dauphin Falcons will head out to challenge the Hershey Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lower Dauphin is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Eastern Lebanon County on Saturday. The Falcons fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Hershey entered their tilt with Bishop McDevitt on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They never let the Crusaders get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Hershey's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last seven matches.

Hershey's win bumped their record up to 13-1-1. As for Lower Dauphin, their loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4-2.

Lower Dauphin beat Hershey by a goal when the teams last played back in September, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
