After a string of seven wins, Potomac School's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sidwell Friends Quakers. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Quakers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Jake Adamec made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Potomac School is 5-1 when Adamec posts two or more runs, but 2-6 otherwise. Jason Seeber was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Potomac School's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Sidwell Friends, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

While Potomac School had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
