It's playoff time, and Lincoln had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the Woodland Wolves 7-5. The win was nothing new for the Fighting Zebras as they're now sitting on three straight.
Landyn Plaut made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run.
